@ayjay I appreciate you writing this post. I never met Vida Chenoweth, but her work in ethnomusicology almost led me into that direction near the end of my time as an undergrad, through the insightful direction of Dr. Kathy Kastner, even though I wasn’t a music major. Her 3-part story intrigued me.
